Description

Do not disturb feature available from the Meeting Room client

Meeting Room client users can set their online status to do
not disturb. This capability was available only in the Sametime
Connect client in previous Sametime releases.

Notes calendaring and scheduling enhancements

If a Sametime server is integrated with the Lotus Domino
calendaring and scheduling capabilities, new features are
provided to enhance the end user experience. When
scheduling a Sametime meeting through the calendaring and
scheduling features of a Lotus Notes client, users can:

  • Create Sametime meeting attendee lists and add and
    remove names from this list.

  • Users can check an "Only the invitees can attend" option
when creating a meeting invitation list and specify a
meeting password. Only the users in the meeting attendee
can use this password to attend the meeting.

Selecting the default login status for Sametime Connect

End users can select a default log-in status (such as "I am active"
or "I am away") for their Sametime Connect clients. This log-in status
to other online members of the Sametime community at the time
the user starts the Sametime Connect client.

This feature must be implemented with the Sametime toolkit.

Setting the default location of chat windows

End users can control the default location on a screen in
which a chat windows pop up when the user participates in a
chat session. End users can also control the size the chat
window will have when it pops up on the screen.

The administrator must enable this feature before it is
available for end users.
